Pizza and Sunset

It is easier to roam around the place when you’re already familiar with it. And since this was our third time to experience Bantayan, we didn’t forget the beach resort that serves the famous and in demand pizza in town, Tristan’s Beach Resort.  Our resort was located nearby the place so we didn’t bother to ride a tricycle. Instead, we walked along the beach.

While walking, we noticed the traces of Typhoon Yolanda on the island. Some coconut trees were uprooted and some debris could still be seen. What took our attention was the Shelter Box that was given to the people. It was a big tent that they utilized as a temporary place while they were recuperating.

We were the only customers when we arrived at the resort. It took us a while to choose the flavor of the pizza, but in the end, we decided to order their specialty called Tristan’s Special.

The price of their Pizzas ranges from 300 to 500 pesos. For me, there is nothing unique or special in their pizza, but since there are no large Pizza chains in the island, Tristan’s Pizza really do shine. We also ordered Carbonara, which was creamy and delicious as well.

Satisfied and happy, we went back to our resort. As we walked along the beach, the sun was already setting and the sky slowly changed its color from blue to orange. The scene was so picturesque. The place was so serene and the only sounds you can hear were of the waves and the wind.

To end our day, we had dinner and it was a slap-up meal. Northville Resort served us delicious and affordable foods and we didn’t regret any peso that we spent. It was all worth it.

The serenity of this island is one of the main reasons why we love to stay here. Bantayan Island is truly an epitome of paradise.
